Anyone see that oil platform or whatever it was being towed up the east coast last friday around mid day?

Any idea where it was going or what it was?

Caught a sight of it going past Shankill a fair way out, no binoculars to see it clearly though

Your sure it was an oil platform?

The gas pip laying one is out there now and again doing maintenance on the line which comes to shore at Loughsinny in North County Dublin and Gormanstown on East County Meath.

    Could've been that.

Was travelling north up the coast. tracked it coming from Greystone up past Howth. 4 tall pillars, but no platform at the top.

Wonder if it was a barge with wind turbine towers on it or something...
