Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Emilie DeRavin (Claire) will be sitting the 5th season out, but will be back for season 6.

    Not yet known why.

    This was heavily rumoured around the time of Cabin Fever last season. Emily's been put on a holding contract. The reason I'd imagine is that the writers have too many characters and ABC won't allow them to have more than 14 actors on contract at once.

    They had 13 regular cast members last season. After Michael blew up that left 12. They obviously wanted to sign up Davies, Leung and Mader for season 5 (they were only guest stars previously). That would make 15, so they had to lose someone. Claire was the natural choice I guess and instead of killing her off they chose a repeat of the Michael situation, i.e. send a character away and pick up their story later.

    So I assume she'll be spending some quality time with her dead daddy next season and we won't see her. Although there's nothing to prevent her appearing in a guest star capacity.
