Anyone know of anywhere in the Greater Dublin region that supplies mature sweet bay (laurus nobilis) trees? These are the larger versions of those lollipop shaped trees you find in pots outside restaurants etc. I need ones which are between eight and ten feet tall as screening above a trellis fence. I need ones which are between eight and ten feet tall as screening above a trellis fence. A garden centre in Kiltiernan has them but is quoting over €400 each! :eek::eek:

This size would be rare enough, usually special order, and I would doubt you would get them for less. Last time we planted 3m (heavy girth) Bay Standards, they were > € 400.
