    Hello!

I'm a complete linux novice, and destroyed my windows laptop, I downloaded and installed ubuntu, but i'm lost when it comes to setting u my internet connection.

I'm currently using 3 broadband (UsB) is there an easy way to get this to work on a linux machine without knowing much about this crazy linux stuff? :p

    Any help greatly appriciated.

What exactly is the problem? Have you tried just plugging in the USB 3G modem? Do any windows come up?

There's some [slightly confusing] info on the ubuntu wiki. According to the Provider Info section, 3 Ireland needs some specific info put in to get online, which the wiki has provided.
