Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hopefully the splint etc is just a precaution until they get a scan on it. But being given oxygen is definitely a bad sign.

Injuring a talented kid in a carling cup game? Sounds like typical Pogatetz.

Great tackle by pogatetz, sh*t player from a sh*t footballing country makes his mark. Hopefully Possebon isn't too badly injured.

Do they still have replays in this comp?

Oh shi1t. Thats a ****ing awful tackle. Pogatetz should be ashamed of himself. He went in with bad intentions, there was absolutely no need to dive in the way he did...disgrace..... and looks like he's done a lot of damage. Never good when the player is given oxygen.

What's the actual time in the match? F*ckers in the chat room are saying it's 2-1, then 2-2.... Still 1-1 for me

Agreed no matter what the results the injury ( if as serious as we are presuming) will over shadow the night, and leave a bad taste.

    2-1 Giggs.

    2-1!!!

Lovely finish from Giggys there !

Hilarious goal, but I'll take it.

Wheater makes a cracking header off the line, cracking.
I think today is the day that we need Anderson to get a goal to his name :) Welbeck could also use one too.

Giggs with another chance cleared off the line.

My link just died when Giggs put the ball in the net.

    Horrible tackle by Pogatetz.

Should be a long ban for him

    Manucho making his debut.

If Possebon is out for a week or 2 its a good day. If he has a broken leg regardless of anything else its a bad bad day.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,422 ✭✭✭Fenix

Manucho seems quite useful, positioning seems good and made a nice run with a left footed shot just wide!

    +9 mins was that ???

I know Possebon was down for a bit but 9mins?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,600 ✭✭✭roryc

manucho just missed a decent chance... only tuned in for the last 20 minutes but United are playing better than I've seen all season... and its their B TEAM :)

the streams are gone to muck I'm afraid. Anyone hear anything about Possebon? I;ll be absolutely gutted for him if its really bad, really felt he was gonna break through to a regular spot as a sub at least.

Doubt we will hear anything until tomorrow. I say Fergie will have his speak on the tackle but I'm guessing it will be a suspected break and he has gone for a scan so we will know the results tomorrow.

Who does he have previous with?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 27,857 ✭✭✭✭Dave!

woohoo........ Nani seemed to have a good game. Just with he would know his limits tbh. Ando had a good game also. Evans didn't play did he? Shame, he's looking like one for the future.

  • Registered Users Posts: 6,588 ✭✭✭jaykay74

Who does he have previous with?

    from wiki...

He had also been tracked by Fulham, but during his final game on loan at Spartak Moscow, he tackled Yaroslav Kharitonskiy, leaving the Russian with a double leg fracture. He was banned for twenty-four weeks by the Russian Football Association.

Due to the Austrian's commitment and notorious 'nutcase/hardman' image, Pogatetz is also commonly referred to by fans and team mates alike as "Mad Dog".
