Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Both Topaz on the Comer Rd are at 99.9 now as well. I think they're still 101.9 or 102.9 for diesel though.

i've been updating pumps.ie for kilkenny city for any of the stations that i pass. its a pretty handy site because it lists the stations in the city and their prices.

sorry folks going a bit off topic, whats the story with that petrol station near the black cat, it always seems to the most expensive 20c more at times. How do they survive?, never see anyone using it.

Typical Kilkenny carry on looking for the cheapest petrol in the county. Following on from the tradition of driving up and down to All Irelands in the same day, not drinking and going to bed at 11 o clock saying : "another one in the bag, good night Mikey. By the way, did you see any petrol bargains on the way home?" Is there any Christmas presents given out in Kilkenny, or just advice on where to get the cheapest stuff?

Im just speculating but it could be its proximity to the garda station. The gardai may have a contract to fill all their cars there which means they can probably charge what they want. I remember a petrol station in dublin on the quays that was up to 30c a litre more expensive than anywhere else. They survived solely on the civil servants who worked in the city centre who all filled their cars there because they had a contract with them. Like i said its just speculation but it is the closest one to the garda station.

I saw Kavanagh's In Urlingford last weekend was something like 98.3, the queue was spilling out onto the main road. And just a little further up the Apple station was something like 98.9, but they had some 'discount rate' of 93.8, whatever that's about. big queues there too.

You get the "discount" rate when you buy a car wash at the same time as the petrol...

Same price at the comer road ones, as well as the Esso in Irishtown. Diesel is 94.9 in the Three Rivers Oil depot near the army barracks.

In Urlingford petrol now 89.9 and diesel 86.9 at Kavanaghs Vivo garage
