Clonsilla or Ashtown??

Hi, I currently work in the Damastown Industrial Estate in the Blanch area and live in a Littlepace, however my girlfriend is going to be moving up very soon, she will be working in Dun Laoghaire! So here's my dilemma i need my car for work and my girlfriend is not confident driving in dublin, so she will have to get the train to work making one change in the city!

We will need to move beside a train station, so its either going to be Clonsilla, Coolmine, Castleknock, Ashtown or Broombridge.
I think if she gets the train from Clonsilla the train won't be as jam packed as if she got it from somewhere like Ashtown!! Although the journey time would be shorter for her if she got it from Ashtown!

Also would anyone know what the drive would be like from places like Clonsilla and Ashtown in the mornings to the blanch area.
I would greatly appreciate your help or any alternative suggestions!!

With easy access to clonsilla train station from little pace, would you be able to drop your girlfriend to clonsilla train station before you go to work if the times match? Not much traffic from clonsilla to the blanch area/damastown , you should do it in less than 10 mins.

Agreed, best option. She can also take advantage of the Clonsilla->Connolly services(avoiding passengers from Maynooth) and DART to Dun Laoghaire.

Are there Clonsilla to Connolly services? I thought they all went to Docklands?

I was on one today- 11am Clonsilla-Connolly, and going to college for 10 I get the 9.20.

Cheers, might come in handy some day. I just use the services to and from Docklands so thought that they all just went there.

At the end of peak times the trains operating Docklands services go to Clonsilla, then out to Connolly and work other services. Anyway, I've given my 2 cents on this topic.

+1 for clonsilla area if you have to work Damastown. Trying to get from the Ashtown side of the M50 roundabout to the other can be a nightmare in the mornings.
