Flash help: fade out on click query

Ok, there's only so much a thread title can give away, but the following is what I am asking about.

A small site I am working on is (predominantly) in Flash. It is using a fade-in technique when a link is clicked to go to a new page (using actions "GoTo and Play" with the (fade-in) motion tween appled, then "Stop" etc.). How can I apply a fade-out tween when a link is clicked and leaving each 'page' in the site to go to the next?

Best thing is to avoid using the time line for this. Check out here how to fade things in & out with actionscript. It's a lot easier for certain things like this:
