I think you need to look closely at the logic of what you are saying here.

Of course a woman going out on a date is presenting herself to be judged. She is hoping for a favourable judgment from the man she is dating.

The problems start when she receives an unfavourable judgment. Or, in last night's case, a damning one.

What you should have done OP is ring your mother straight away (assuming you weren't a test-tube baby) and ask her why you have no respect for women.
