Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Need help selecting best RAID option

    Looking for advice on the best RAID solution for my situation.

    End goal is protection, not faster seek time.

    Current setup:
    150G Raptor as boot drive
    500G as main drive
    2nd 500G as backup but I'm just using SyncToy to copy data over.

    my MB is an ASUS P5B Delux with 6 SATA ports and another JMicron port?? it also has an external SATA port.

    For the 150G raptor... I was thinking of a RAID1 morror.
    And for main storage I was thinking of a RAID5 solution, so add another 3 x 500G drives, but that used up 5 SATA ports, and I'm not sure I can mirror the 150G raptor from the JMicron drive??

    Any suggestions?
