Spiderman/American Psycho

Not sure if this has been posted already. Both Spiderman and American Psycho are to be made into musicals.

I'd heard about the Spiderman one, but the American Psycho one is news to me!

U2 will be writing the music for Spiderman and it will possibly open next year. American Psycho is expected to open in 2010.

I can't see american Psycho translating too well to musical.
Poor Bret Easton ellis (author of the book) would have a fit! The only part in the movie he didn't like was Christian Bale's moondancing.

This is not so unusual.

There is already a Doctor who musical, and a superman musical.

You can make a musical out of anything really.


And I concur with Galva, I think the relationship between Megatron and Optimus Prime should be explored via the medium of song.

I want Bad Boys the Musical. Looking forward to seeing the Fly the Opera if I ever get a chance, it looks very unusual and quite cool.

Spiderman the musical? Proof positive there is no god. The only positive I can think of is there'd have to be some amazing wire work in it.

As for American Psycho, I cant see it as a musical but I'd certainly see it as a play. I'll reserve judgement though as I cant really see where they're going with it.
