well theres the DSPCA, dogsaid etc. You could also offer to do homechecks in the dublin area for other rescues etc. You should check out http://petsireland.invisionzone.com and see if anybody needs help.

You could walk dogs in the pound anytime you like, the poor things really need to get out of that noise and stress, ring cats aid they are in need of volunteers to go out on rescue's, Ash animal rescue in wicklow need people to raise funds as they are in an emergency situation and any and all need help to raise funds, shelters need dog walkers and people to socialise cats. Just open the phone book and get calling you'll find alot of them will be greatful for the offer of help.
