Is Youghal beach in Cork any good??Havent seen anything around about it but just wondering does anyone ever go down there?

never surfed there but looking at it on google earth the beach pretty much faces east. You'd need a decent swell to reach that far, wrap around and hit the beach.

That being said swells getting that big is common enough during winter and with the prevailing westerly winds that typically come with these swells you should get nice offshore conditions.

ideal when everywhere is blown out/too big id say.
