Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Will x16 DVD+R discs burn properly on a DVD+R drive that only burns at x8 speed?

    Like the heading says...

    Will x16 DVD+R discs burn properly on a DVD+R drive that only burns at x8 speed?

    I normally buy x8 +R discs for my pc, but there is a special price on x16 +R discs at the mo.

    I take it that the x16 discs will burn ok, but only at the x8 speed that the drive runs at?

    yes. for layman's sake, its the same as saying a sports car that can top 160mph will operate at 80mph and 40mph (eg. 16x 8x and 4x)
