Does anybody know what, if anything, Thomond Park was called before being Thomond Park? A friend asked me and it's driving me nuts.

It was always called Thomond Park - it was built in 1938 and became the home of Munster rugby in 1942

they were talking about auctioning off the name to the new stadium, but following a sucessful canpaign, they decided to leave it as it was Thomond Park
