Just noticed a few games have gone free from various sources.

Fallout which needs no introduction is free over at www.gametap.com

I think you may need to download gametap software as well though.

The Suffering
A third person action/horror game from 2004 which was released on several platforms. Scored 80 on metacritic and has a similar user score as well.
Its just been released free on filefront.

Half Life: Decay
This is a port of the Playstation 2 only game that was bundle with the original Half Life. The game was never released on the PC and is considered the missing chapter by many people. Its a game mean't to be played in co-op where you playing as 2 female co-workers of a certain Dr Freeman as they attempt to escape the hell of Black Mesa. You will need the original Half Life to play it.

Hidden and Dangerous Deluxe
I know this has been around ages for free but its one of the all time best tactical shooters. Comes with the expansion pack (Fight for Freedom)

is farcry free now, they sell it in the 7.99 segment of Game, has to be one of the best buys in the place at that price

Alas Far Cry and Ghost Recon or are not free or not any more anyway.

They where free a while back when Ubisoft decided to release them in North America only as free ad supported versions. However when they realised that people outside the USA where able to obtain them as well they pulled the plug on it.

However I noticed on gamershell.com they still offer these free ad supported versions.
