Hi I have a bosch classixx 1400 washing machine. Recently it has stopped being able to fill the drum with enough water by itself. Hi
I have a bosch classixx 1400 washing machine. Recently it has stopped being able to fill the drum with enough water by itself. The wash program will start, water will come down from the top of the soap drawer but the machine will stop and the rinse cycle light will flash.

If I pour additional water into the drawer the machine will wash and drain fine.

any ideas?

The fill hose has a fine mesh filter at each end. turn off the valve, screw off the hose and check each end. well water can contain a lot of sedmitation and mains water if they were working at it lately. Coil on valve could also be faulty. They are ok when cold and when powered up heat up and go open circuit so check after it is on far a few minutes. Should be about 3000 - 4000 ohms.
