Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

HRV - Locate Air Intake

Just about to chose a HRV system for our house - will have to decide over the next few days.

We have been quoted for a 300 unit and also for a 400 from 2 different companies. The 300 unit is on the Appendix Q but the other isnt. We have a 3000 sq ft house but both companies are telling us that their unit is the size we need.
Will a 300 unit be sufficent for a 3000 sq ft house?

What we really need to know is where is the best place to locate the air intake grill and discharge air. Some are telling us the gable wall is the best place to locate the grills, others are saying the roof and then aother company said the soffit is the best.

Can anyone help with this as we need to decide on it in a few days.

    Thanks
