does anyone know if grants are available for masters degrees, or is that just for undergraduate courses?

    ok thanks :)

and are they the same as the grants you receive for undergrad courses, do i apply to the local co council , and is it still based on my parents income?

Exactly same procedure. You can be assessed either on your income alone or on your income and your parents.
