Wi-Fi access in UCHG ?

    Is there wi-fi that patients can use in UCHG ?
    I'm thinking the answer will be no but it's worth asking anyway. :)

    I'm guessing NUIG would have some of their college wifi points across the hospital for students,

    That's a good point!
    Would you need a login to access them or would they be public access?

    you do, it;s called NUIG WiFi but if your a student or know of anyone else with login details, it could help some patients to pass time sitting in the wards! (as it gets really boring )

    as far as i know there is wifi access in the main concourse but i could be wrong. just ask at the main reception desk

    I'll ring up and ask.
    They really should get it if it wouldn't affect machinery. You can only play "spot the doctor with the unwashed hands" for so long in there.

    just rang them... quicker than Boards :D
    It is available, but strong in some areas, weak/non-existent in others.
    Username is guest, pw is guest.
