It's only available from TIM or Vodafone Italy. It costs 569€. It is completely unlocked. There is no branding.

out of curiosity, did your mate get one, and was he able to pay with cash?

I dont suppose they ship these abroad by any chance ? Im guessing apple dont allow that sort of business. If only our goverment had that law about contract phones.

You can buy one of these on ebay. I did a few weeks ago. The only thing is, there will be a premium, so it will cost around €700 including shipping.
