But in fairness I can register any web URL I like and redirect visitors somewhere else. I could redirect visitors to www.voteforjohnnyboy.com to Obamas website if I wanted but that doesnt mean John McCain owns voteforjohnnyboy.com.

Whilst you can redirect to a url, putting a page onto someone else's domain is quite another thing ....

You read the article I take it? It is owned by the same company that handles John McCains website. It was also initially redirecting to its own special page on the John McCain website which is tracked on their website not the milf link.

It's when I read things like that - this whole creationism thing is just mind-boggling - that I really wish there was a <hangs head in hands and shakes head> smiley face.......

All of her speeches for the first few weeks were all the same speech and the only interview I've seen with her (in full) she spoke a lot of words but basically said nothing. She'd have put our politicians to shame! Her answe to most questions was little more than a "I don't know". She's was a terrible choice for running mate, and I think she has the potential to ruin McCains campaign.

The problem with Internet searches is that when you're looking for something specific, you need to trawl through pages of links to shrill political blogs and websites. Unfortunately, Update 2, which appears to be the critical one, on the OP's link has failed due to bandwidth exceeding. Instead of looking at political sites, I've been trying to find an IT-related site which is analysing the story. Not found one yet, they're mainly all links to the govgap article. The original Digg thread referenced in the OP link has people arguing both ways.

I'm going to file this under 'possible' for now.

I nearly wet myself laughing at the answer to the foreign policy question there. Thanks for that jmayo! It's good to know that the Alaskans are there keepng a close eye on the Russians and Canadians to ensure there are no National Security threats headed Americas way from them. Priceless.

Let's just hope she's done enough damage to the McCain campaign to ensure she never gets that VP position!
