Ableton -> Reason Rewire Difiiculty

    Hi,

    Im having problems with rewire between Ableton Live 6 and Reason 4, theres no problem in getting it goin its just that when I arm the track in Live, i keep getting intermittent hissing and popping noises even when there is no music coming from reason. Im using Vista and I have 2gb of RAM if thats any help.

    There are a few things to consider:

    What interface/desk are you using?
    Have you checked what buffer rate you are recording at?
    Do you have this problem when Reason is active or all the time in Ableton?
    Have you checked your hardware settings within Ableton?

    Buffers 2 be sure.

    Check that you are on same sample rate for card/ableton/reason etc..

    Check that you have the most up2date vista updates.. & any 6.0.x / 4.0.x from ableton + the prop's.
