    Hi,

Anybody know where I can buy a live lobster in Dublin - looking for one between 1.5->2lbs?

    Thanks

Nah Fallon and Byrne has 3 parts - wine bar downstairs, restaurant upstairs, and on the ground floor is an up market grocery. And yes, they have lobsters there.

Cavistons on the south side should do them and also I reckon there must be a few places up around Howth that would have them as well

wrights or beshoffs in howth do them. 1.5-2lb lobster is very small and doesnt yield much meat.
they are approx 19e per kilo. i recommend at least 1kilo, 1.5 kilo is a good enuf size.
not cheap but food to die for!

Lobster is overrated, if you want really good crustacean try Crayfish.
2x the price and not easily got but much nicer than lobster.
