Which make/model car did you learn to drive in?

I'm doing some research with regard to a driving school and wondered which type car people found best to learn in? Would greatly appreciate peoples views on this, especially what they found good or bad about the particular car.

I'm a driving instructor and teach in a '08 Fiat Grande Punto. Nice lil car, v easy to drive, v comfy with air-con. Defo recommend it.

I passed my test in my '96 Fiesta before I sold it. Did my first lessons when learning to drive in a '94 Micra. Micra's are so small and pokey. Hate the new shape.
