    Bone dry here also for most of the day and evening though theres a little rain now and again blowing about.

    Rain continues unrelentingly here, although lighter than of late. Totals since noon yesterday now 50mm here in Shamtown (56mm in my manual:cool:). I would imagine that totals are higher still in Galway City as the rain was thicker there this morning; while Claremorris is reporting just 37mm for the same time period, which suggests the heavier rain is very much confined nearer the coast.
