a mate is going to asia and he's thinking of buying a new phone out there probly a nokia N96

i have my doughts about buying phones there

personally i never bought a phone from there but i presume there cheap knock off


anybody one buy a phone from asia ???????????

Where in Asia had you in mind, it's a big place and Ankara may be different from Manila in this regard.

Singapore should be fine, you can tell the knock off's a mile away in most cases.

I'm sure you could out there! I know I can get one through eBay off someone I've bought from before for around €550....which I don't think can be beaten in this country!
