Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Some good pointers in that link there above.

I lived in Mayrhofen for 6 months and it was grrrreat. Scotties, then up to the schussel alm for a boogie then to Apropos for more drinkies until the bakery opened next door for fresh rolls mmmmm.

Its a lovely little town with most things off the main St. Mo`s, Mannis and Edelwiess for food.

The main gondola for the Penken side is on the main st so you cant miss it. Plenty of places to hire your skis too. Sport 2000 opposite the gondola is handy enough for your ski hire and used to be run by an English guy called Ian.

Its a great place and I hope you have fun!

have been there myself about 2 years ago, great spot with a cool apre ski fun. I would recommend you get a locker up at the top as its handy to dump the skies/boots before heading down to the town, also saves you lugging them up for classes in the morning when your...under the weather :)

Went to Mayrhofen in Jan this year... I go Snowboarding every year to different spots and Austria was well up at the top.

Great snow when I was there some nice blue and red slopes and if you are feeling adventurous by the end try out Hari Kari!!

Apres ski isnt wild but you will still have a laugh!!

Mayrhofen is an attractive village aswell although I do remember a big building site which was in the middle of the village (probably finished by now).

Oh yeah... Check out 'Movie Bar' one of the nights!!

    Peace out....
