    Anyone seen any good deals on the PS3 lately?
    I'll be buying one on Friday when FIFA 09 comes out.

    Argos had the best offer last I heard?

    Note to the gullible - if it looks too good to be true, it probably is. Notice the contact details? A hotmail address. I wouldn't touch it with your credit card.

    Xtravision have a good deal, 80gb console plus any game for 409 IIRC. There's a thread about it in the console>playstation forum here.

    new one coming out but games bundled aren't that expensive. And you can add a hard drive to the 80 gig if you run out - which shouldn't happen anytime soon. Got mine for 440 in xtravision with gta and tiger woods - can't say fairer than that.

    Not sure what Argos are offerin but ye can get Fifa 09 and a PS3 for €399.99 in GAME. 80Gb model obviously.

    Is it worth buying a PS3 right now with the new one coming out at the end of the month?

    I won't need the 160gb memory, but will it bring the price of the 80GB model down?

    For example, a month ago my friend bought the 40GB one for €400. It went down in price to €299 only 2 weeks later, when the 80GB came out.
