    hi, i got a 17'' flat screen about 3 years ago it was fairly cheap.
    my problem started about 3 months ago, it wont turn on for about 30 minnutes, the light is on and everything it just wont respond once on it works as normal its preaty wierd anyone got any ideas what the problem could be.
    also it has built in speakers if i plug my mp3 into it no sound will come out till the screen comes on, thanks.

    Are you sure its not a cold boot problem with your machine rather then your monitor?

    had the same problem with last computer, this ones only a month old
