Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Enabling AHCI when Vista is already installed...

Long story short, in order to get Ubuntu running on my pc I need to go into the bios and enable AHCI mode instead of IDE for my sata drives. Doing this causes windows to bluescreen and restart the pc a few seconds after the vista loading bar appears.
Any ideas on how to get around this without reinstalling Vista?

Chipset drivers etc are all up to date

    AHCI, not ACHI:o

Use a pci ide card ? then leave ACHI turned off for vista and use the crd with ACHI support. Might work ?

Seems a little extreme though... I might be better off just reinstalling windows I guess
