Lol like that matters in WWE, how many times did Flair perform ballshots in WWE in front of the ref and not get DQ'd? :D

now he has done something cena did twice in a few months in 2007, lets party ;)

please let that be the last ever HHH title reign as that reign had to one of the worst in history

Nothing much, only the BEST PART OF THE F*CKING PPV!
Vickie came out, announced it was Triple Threat, and he's here
    Out comes Edge
    then out comes Jeff
    "schmoz"
    Spear on HHH
    123, Edge new champion.

The only reason Cena wont go over here is if they want to turn him heel, have him lose in his hometown, snap and turn.

The chances of that happening are unlikely, but this is WWE.

Oooh Cena got a good few boos in his hometown!
Seems like the population with Boston that have a brain love Jericho.

That don't mean sh*t in wrestling, Hogan was a classic example in 96.
Tugboat was another one in 91.

Both of which were over huge with the kids. Even Shawn for that matter in 91 when he kicked Jannetty through the barber shop window.

BTW, why is Jericho wearing Kennedys old tights?! ;)

ahh i know that dont mean sh1t, but i just think they have portrayed him to much as a nice guy with a love of wrestling ever since he was a boy etc etc, it wouldnt make sense to turn him.

I agree with you, it wouldn't make sense.
But most of what WWE has been doing this year hasn't made sense either. If an idea amuses Vince McMahon in the slightest way, Vince will roll with it.

Or a DQ win for Cena... we've less than 10 minutes as most PPVs end at 2hrs 40. :D

this is completely off topic to an extent but, with those short pants, anytime i see jericho wearing the belt around his waist, from the front it looks like he's in his birthday suit!!

Age of Jericho over, MEGACena returns and takes it. :(
Wont be tuning back into RAW anytime soon.

Overall PPV rating. First hour and 45 mins was an abortion, and the last two matches were god awful with good endings.

Hah like you had to ask! Usually the same outcome, just different jobber.
Calloway has become an embarrassment to the company at this stage, having woeful matches on PPVs in 2008, time to pack it in. Nobody cares about your deadman gimmick or worthless streak anymore.

I'm sure your pension has a load stacked away and your real estate business has taken off. Go to that, while you still have a shred of credibility left.

Cue's bashing from Taker marks trying to justify his 2008 stinkfest.

what the hell are they doing to the belt on RAW? Batista has it for a week then jericho has it for what, 2 weeks? Freaking joke. What were they thinking giving it to Batista at all if they were going to take it off him immediately. I really though Batista would come down and stop Cena from winning the belt.

I don't mind that Cena won it - this MegaCena crap is just that imo - crap. When he came back from the pec injury he neither won the belt, nor whipped everyone around, he lost a number of fights. I just don't get what the WWE have been thinking with all the belt changes.

Also, I thought Hardy was in a triple threat for the title at Survivor series.... oh well, got that one wrong!!

I'm so glad Edge and Cena are back :) but a bit disappointed Cena won the title. I'm so glad HHH dropped the title.

Cena from 2005-2007 was bloody horrid to watch though, thats just my opinion, it was almost like watching HHH. Although people tend to erase that period from their minds. But the people who were booing him in arenas night after night won't. So he didn't get it back immediately, neither did HHH.
That belt's gonna be on MEGACena for a long time unfortunately, while Jericho slides down the midcard.

WWE did a good job swerving a lot of people on that. Edge v Jeff will be decent, a lot better than Edge v Matt was.

At least the title belt is off SuperHunter again...for now at least. Wrestlemania isn't too far away right?

Sounds like he had an absolutely atrocious match too. Take this waste of space out of the main event please.

Sounds like he had an absolutely atrocious match too. Take this waste of space out of the main event please.

He did but the blame wasn't entirely to be put at his feet either. Basically it was meant to be booked to be a submission special given Koslov's sambo experience. Problem there is HHH never was a technical or submission specialist, save for his stellar performance at Judgment Day 2000 against Rock in the 60 minute Ironman.

As a result, there were a lot of restholds involved in the match. With the crowd chanting boring at various points in the match.

Definitely not one of HHH's finer points. Dude, find it on youtube or an alternative and watch it, just to see that HHH did his best with what he had to work with.

Koslov is f*cking useless, and the sad thing is, we all knew this!

it was nothing like watching HHH, cena made all of his opponents look like legit challengers who could beat him and did on raw and SNME. people were pissed off e.g. when cena beat khali at and lashley, they were sure cena would be beat. HHH of today squashes everyone, nobody believed khali or umaga had a chance against HHH and they didn't. cena matches on ppv in 2006-2007 were also usually match of the night, HHH lost that ability about 2002. before last night HHH had only been pinned twice (both by jeff) in 25 months. the last man to pin HHH before that was orton with an rko on a chair and bischoff fast count at cyber sunday 2006. no way cena is going on a run like that

HHH's matches this year, no matter how bad they were, they were nowhere near as bad as Takers! Especially that godawful match with Edge that required a complete burial just to appease Takers mental masturbation.

Yeah! Cena made Mr Spears look like a legit challenger! K-Fed, one of the few people Cena actually put over that year!

Khali or Umaga were not main eventers, they already tried that with Khali and it tanked! More than once, what the hell makes people think HHH putting him over would make him any different.

HHH did not lose that ability back in 2002, sorry but you're so wrong there on many levels! I agree he may not have it now, but he's had some great matches with Jeff, Shawn, Flair and even Batista between 2002 to now.

Anyway I thought the show was okay despite what the live thread said :p even though HHH & Koslov and Undertaker & Show were the pits. I dont know what people expect for a WWE PPV anymore.

Being a big participant in that live thread, i have to say i went in with zero expectations and thats exactly what i got. My sleep pattern has been way out of whack over the course of the last six weeks so i'm not getting to bed til about 7am. As a result, i ended up watching Survivor Series out of having sweet f*ck all else to do and i knew someone else who was staying up for it too.

It was very hard to find anything good to say about it as far as I was concerned. The traditional matches were marred with meaningless squashes killing any excitement for the endings, The matches you mentioned were a major factor too, and on top of that, Cena/Jericho was bloody terrible save for the last five minutes of it.

That said, we now have a reason to tune into SD on Friday nights again. :D

in 2006 edge beat cena twice for the belt, rvd beat cena for the belt, booker t pinned cena at cyber sunday 2006 (cena was the one to take the pin in the champions match where as HHH was the one to pin matt hardy in the same match 2 months back), umaga pinned cena on raw, khali pinned cena on SNME and michaels pinned cena on that one-hour match, he put over almost all his challengers in 2006-2007. again no comparison for me.

one (maybe max 2) good match a year is what HHH is limited to these days, he phones it in most of the time. undertaker has great matches since 2002 as well with batista, edge, angle. i suppose if any of us were in HHH's position we would do the same thing as he is doing :P people are bored of taker, HHH and batista to a lesser extent. cena, orton, punk, edge, jeff (if he stay clean), matt (he was hugely over last week in manchester) are the future of wwe and should be pushed through the roof.
