A friend asked me to top up their phone as they are abroad and roaming and can't top up. They have an 086 number but I think they are with vodafone. How do i check what network they are with? I am using o2 at moment.

ring straight to their voicemail and if they havnt set up a personal message it will say " you have reached the o2/vodafone/meteor voicemail of".

do this by dialling the prefix 087 then 5 then the persons number.
