mobile without java

Could anyone explain if a phone does not have java what disadvantages does it have . Is it just to do with games on the phone ?

You won't be able to use any Java based applications, games or utilities.

Yeah, as aidan walsh said...
For wm phones that come without java you can install a jvm...a virtual java environment in which you can run all the usual java apps (the treo 750 e.g. Came without java... Takes 10 minutes to get it java-ready

Its a cect S689 , Whats a wm-version ?

wm is windows mobile, but of course the cect s689 is not running windows mobile
