Remote Central locking problem.

Bought car few days ago with "gemini" central locking fitted, worked fine for few few days but now it is acting up. I would press unlock and nothing would happen until roughly a minute later. Is it to do with the battery fitted in the remote or what? I haven't a clue when it comes to these things. Thanks in advance.

Try replacing the battery only cost €5 or so.
