Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back a page or two to re-sync the thread and this will then show latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Chickenfoot - the temporary name for Joe Satriani's new supergroup. Chad Smith of Chili Pepper's fame will be the drummer with Van Halen's Sammy Hagar and Michael Anthony on vocals and bass respectively.

It's all the ingredients of an epic success or a colossal flop?!

    Your opinions?!

maybe in between, a lot of supergroups fail to live up to their promise, probably because the chemistry isn't generated by the respective members imo.

The band seems pretty confident - couple of quotes for sammy hagar:
    "[the band] could rival Zep"
"When people hear the music, it's Led Zeppelin. I know that's a bold statement, but it's as good as that"

Looking forward to this alright, should be good if it turns out half as well as the hype.

Supergroups can let you down big time. First i've heard of this set up but looking forward to it.

Good to see Michael Anthony back too!!!!

Oh absolutely, seems like he wnet off the rails in the late 90's after he left VH. Musically of course, not in an Amy Winehouse type of off the rails!
