Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

We would be grateful for information, please.

Does anyone know who owns the land that this place is on? We have read the story online and apparently the hermitage is now empty?

Does the Church own it as it was originally created for the Church? Was it given to Irene Gibson on condition it be used for sacred purposes?

We put in a then-unsuccessful bid to buy the place, to run as a retreat centre many years ago and now gather that the whole scene has changed.

    The address is Drmmin, Westport

    Thank you

If you believe this was originally Church property, you could contact the Archbishop's office, Tuam.

Alternatively get your solicitor to check in Property Registration Authority.
