I was watching a news item yesterday about the potential closure of Cappoquin Chickens in Waterford. One person told, how, in some cases a father, mother and even their siblings would work at the factory and all be at risk of losing their jobs. I thought "Man, talk about putting all your eggs in one basket"

Q: Why did the chicken cross the road?

A: To get to the dole office. It was laid off. Laid geddit? Oh never mind, get back to work.
