Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi

Just wondering could I connect to xbox live using my laptop that is connected by wire to the internet. I am behind a proxy server so I cannot connect connect directly and can only go throgh the laptop. Is it possible to broadcast a wireless signal from the laptop and connect the xbox wireless. Might sound stupid but just wondering?

You can get on xbox live using internet connection sharing, there are instructions at http://www.xbox.com/en-US/support/connecttolive/xbox360/connectionmethods/windowsics.htm.

In a nutshell, you select the lan connection your internet comes through in network settings and select allow other computers to connect this internet connection. Then setup a wireless network and a workgroup to go on it, then connect your xbox to it. The guide above will have this in much more detail.

The proxy server could be a problem however, I am not too sure what you mean exactly, is it some sort of college/work connection ?
