Sorry to burst your bubble. I used to work for RTE and yes they do employ hundreds but everybody there works extremely hard. RTE clearly pay a huge amount in wages every year but you have to remember these people aren't working in tescos. Most staff there are highly skilled and qualified in their respective areas. Believe me nobody in RTE spends the day doing nothing. Don't get me wrong, there is always room for improvement and streamlining but this doesn't justify calling employees morons. Are you jealous or just have a general dislike for RTE because of what your friend told you? It's a great place to work.

Well I used to work there too and a lot of people do nothing. A large number of people there are extremely ignorant, only place I've worked where people won't say hello to you in the corridor. Huge egoes from a lot of people who are basically glorified data entry workers yet think they're really really important. A number of people were only hired from nepotism and their wages are way above the industry average so yes they're overpaid.

jdivision. My experience there was different to yours. I did meet some people with huge egos but you get that everywhere, especially in the media and broadcast industry (i find anyway) I can't comment on anything else you said because I don't know anything about nepotism and people hired because of it. All though I don't disagree that it happens. There are generations of families working there. But it's not that common as far as I know. I don't really know much about it. I only know about the technical production end of things. Most people I met there were extremely nice. I think it's a great place to work.

Anyway we all agree that RTE need improvements (to say the least). I'm only commenting on my experiences and the fact that not all staff are morons. And only a chosen few have a say over what is aired or even produced. That's all I have to say about it.

So what if she was? People wouldn't be so adverse to the condition if it was called "Up's syndrome".
I was referring to her face. It looks down syndrome. Don't take things so seriously. ;)

The Seoige's are good looking, better looking in fact than a lot of Hollywood stars etc.

But I often see better down the town or anytime I visit the continent.

Once again, WTF were they thinking with Peaches. They should at least have had a comedian beside her to make fun of her.

What continent - there are five ! What town ?? Pikeyville ???.

Yeah them Seoige cailins are serious **** all right - feisty bints by the look of it..wouldn't say it would take too much to get a big strop goin - especially the older one.

Younger filly looks a bit ,,,uh ..pikey all right..could visualise the clay pipe full o turf stikin outa her gob.

Gene pool a bit restricted in Connemara I guess.

As for Geldoff ...what was old Tubbs thinkin ..favor for the ould fella.?...could talk a bit all right, but like ...uh like ...condescinding /patronising or what ???.
