    Very dull debate imo, the last political debate I saw was for the London mayoral elections back in May this one is not a patch on it.

    That said Obama ahead for me.

    In a pub quiz (or that crappy Les Dennis Quiz show) I think all the following are applicable as descriptive words/terms for McCain and what is assosiated with him:

    1. "My Friends"
    2. Cheap Shots
    3. Senile
    4. Deluded/Fool
    5. Service/Navy
    6. Clueless
    7. Crap gags




    Now I fully accept he'll have advisors/puppetmasters that will prevent him from having Google-able health records online, but his lack of vision as to what is NEEDED is worrying.

    Also, why does he walk away from the camera the whole time?

    The format for this debate is terrible, it's tough for both of them to work within. Think Obama is doing a better job within the limits.

    Obama answered the question on Pakistan very well - McCain very hampered by the fact that he is simultaneously trying to attempt to answer the question and get digs in at Obama. As a result McCain's reponse coming accross as very muddled.

    Getting interesting with the debate rules there - neither of the two did well there but Obama probably shaded it.

    McCain - what was the joking with a veteran thing about there?

    see obama wont commit, he doesn't need to attack the repubs ,but commit to his view, he inevitably is playing by their rules.

    mcain didn't answer the pakistan question well cos they are attacking pakistan right now.

    Watching now. McCain is not doing enough he needs to attack Obama and hit him hard. Have not seen that so far tonight and this is playing out nicely for Obama. Nothing special from Obama but McCain is not working him enough.
