on my way to the munster match yesterday there were was one of the motorbike gardai panned out on the middle of the road at the henry st/william st road it looked as if he was after getting knocked down, he wasnt moving but that may have been because they told him not to move.
Just wondering did anyone else see it and know what happened?..and does anyone know if he was ok or not?

A mate of mine was at the corner when it happened. He said the front wheel skidded out and the bike went down. There was no collision with any other vehicle. He was escorting the team coach and the doc got out and attended. I haven't heard anything official but I briefly spoke to one of the Gardai at the scene and he said he wasn't too bad, the cervical collar, spinal board etc were all as a precaution.

No the incident your thinking of was in Galway.
