Hey, i used to play poker quite a bit on vcpoker but stopped awhile ago.
I now want to start playing again but have found that my new macbook
isn't compatible with any Irish site i can find.
Anyone able to recommend any of the mac compatible sites?
    Anyone had this problem?

I would be very grateful to hear others experiences.

    Yep, as do PokerStars.

If you have a new intel based Macbook then you can use boot camp or a VM to put windows on it and you can then play other sites.

But Stars and Tilt work fine. party poker also has a Mac client.

ah, yes. Used to have a beautiful 15" MacBookPro. But alas, it went the way of so many other notebooks, i.e. some bastard somewhere probably bought it for €100.

Anyway, as FatBoyDim says, your best bet is BootCamp or an app called Parallels to run Windows on your Mac. Search your hard drive for how to work BootCamp or google Parallels OSX. Having said that, the best software for your Mac is Stars or Full Tilt. They run perfectly on my iMac and both are fully featured.
