Hardly a great game, but it's hard to argue with free.

It's got a good last act. Hardly amazing but I found it enjoyable none the less.

Wait, is this the dodgy "arcade" shooter Area 51, or the flawed FPS game that the lead dev got all pissy about & was supposed to be some satire on Iraq?

Gah, it's the former from 2005. I'll correct the title.

Yeah its gone free thanks to sponsorship from the US airforce.

Full Spectrum Warrior and Rise and Fall: Civilizations at War are also gone free for the same reason.

You can find them over at filefront.com

It's actually the prequal to that one and is a decent game.

Great find. It's just a shame the layout of the website is so crappy.

Just played the 1st 5 or 6 levels of Area 51 and its not too bad. I was playing Crysis earlier on today so compared to that its showing its age.
Free gaming, what can you say: glad i didn't buy this when it came out!
I'm going to download C + C next. Which would you guys suggest:
Command & Conquer: Red Alert Allied Disc
Command & Conquer: Red Alert Soviet Disc
    Command And Conquer: Tiberian Dawn?
    cheers
Ps: Psi-Ops: The Mindgate Conspiracy is on the mega games site as well
