I recently dropped out of UL due to family problems and I need someone else to take the room in order to get my money back.

It's in Groody Student place, number 69.
Close to Aldi and everything only a 10minute walk to campus.

Let me know (PM me or reply)

If he does that and comes back to UL they might not let him stay there.

Point taken. There are plenty of other places to stay anyway.

Are you referring to me? I didn't do anything to get kicked out.

My dad is extremely ill so I had no choice but to leave completely.

No, they were saying that *if* you were to do something to get kicked out of Groody then you could get your money back, but wouldn't be able to live there ever again. In other words, they were giving you another option if you couldn't find someone to take your place...although I wouldn't recommend it :)

Have you tried posting on the ULSU website and maybe talk to the accommodation office, they might know of people looking for a room. Also, did you explain to Groody about the circumstances? IMO, it's pretty unfair when there's a serious reason the student has to drop out and they still won't return the money. I'm not sure what your rights are but try talking to the Welfare Officer, Catriona, in the SU for some advice.

Sorry to hear about your Dad. Hope he gets better soon and you work out the accommodation problem.

As ergonomics said no they weren't referring to you. Try talking to the SU and see if they can help you out with Groody.

Sorry to hear about your dad too hope he recovers.
