Dublin band(s) wanted for Launch Gig

    My band, Jack of Speed, are doing an EP release next month. We've a launch gig booked in the Boom Boom Room for Saturday November 8th. We're looking for one, possibly two bands to play a slot at the gig.

    We're just looking for any band that's half decent, and who can bring some sort of a crowd. We're hoping for a big turnout for ourselves so this is a good oppurtunity to showcase your music in front of more than the average crowd you get playing in Dublin most of the time. It's a saturday night slot so you should have no trouble in convincing people to head in to the gig.

    Check out our myspace to get an idea of what we're like. Set lengths will be about 30-40 minutes depending on how many bands we book.

    Cheers to everybody for the replies. There's a few bands interested so we'll make our decision in the next few days. We'll let everybody know either way.

    Thanks once again to everybody who sent us a message. Obviously we couldn't accommodate everybody.

    Support on the night will be from Tigris and Von Bizmark. Boom Boom Room, Saturday November 8th. €6 at the door or €10 with a copy of our EP. Please come along, it should be a great night.
