    ive a lab shes 4 shes now on red mills shes been on royal cannin pet shop and vet only one been on eukinuba also vet reccomended she go on cat food and she was on chicken and rice!! :o at the mo the red mills is great for her coat bt shes passing awfull wind!! the only reason y shes been on differnent food is beacuse she sheds non stop most likely because shes a a house dog and the high amounts of protein usually found on this foods !!any1 with gud advice r helpfull hints !!

    Mine are fed on Orijen. It is a grain free food, so it has a much higher digestibility than foods with high levels of grain. Because it is low in carbohydrates they don't tend to suffer at all from wind on it.

    High protein is not really the problem with foods, the issue is the quality of protein. If it is a type of protein that is not very usable to dogs then it can cause all sorts of problems.
