Any mechanic should be able to service it, even the apprentice, is it due anything major?, probably just needs some oil, plugs and filter, you could do it yourself easily enough with the right tools...

No, I see more than enough of them on the roads, definitely don't want to read about them on here as well.;)

I'd have thought it'd be cheaper to insure than a Clio V6? ;)

As others have said, try AC Car Sales on Bloomfield Avenue (off SCR). They're who I usually use for parts (I'm in Galway, so having them servicing for me is a PITA!). A huge number of BMW enthuasiasts use them.

As for your apprentice friend, my advice would be wait until he's served some time; a bad/inexperienced mechanic could cost you dearly.

I call shenanigans! I had a 3 page anti-anti BMW drivers rant worked up in my head and this is what I get? :(

    They've moved!

White Swan Business Park, SCR, Dublin 8. Just up from Donore Ave Church, if coming from Cork Street and just down from Sally's Bridge if coming from the canal/SCR/Stadium direction.

If I could afford a Clio V6 in the first place I'd be driving it half the time instead of being here :D

Ditto, I even ripped open a bag of Manhattan's finest to keep me going.
And the use of caps in the title had me thinking this was going to be the ultimate "cut me up" story.:D

Any Independent garage will be able to service your car for you.

Did you ring Joe Duffy and get a price off them for curiousity.

Why buy a car that you cant afford to have serviced.

Servicing a car isnt that hard like said above, with the right tools your flying.

They are still in Bloomfield as well as in White Swan (I couldn't remember the White Swan address when I posted earlier!).
