problems connecting samsung duo d880 to PC

hey guys recently bought a samsung duo d880 ( 2 sims in teh one phone running concurrently!) i installed teh usb driver and the pc studion, in that order, and the windows xp PC that i use still does not recognise phone in the pc studio, it says'not connected' this is really annoying me, id really appreciate some help on…
