hi, the daughter of a friend of mine is having her debs tomorrow and i have been invited to the house for a few drinks before she sets off. im getting her a gift (dont want to give her cash as she will just drink it) but i have no idea what would be appropriate. if anybody has any ideas i would be grateful, cheers

Bollox, only saw this post now.

On any of the occasions where my family weren't giving cash for a debs they usually went with some jewelery, newbridge silver have some nice affordable pieces and they are quite popular too.
